CRC 2026
Timisoara, Romania
Hosted by the ASHRAE Danube Chapter from 4 to 6 September 2026, the Region XIV CRC brought delegates from across the Region together in Timișoara, Romania, for regional meetings, chapter training, professional collaboration, and networking. Under the theme “Integrated Decarbonization Strategies in Built and Urban Environments: Digital, Health-Centric, and Resilient Systems,” the programme also featured technical sessions exploring digitalization, healthy buildings, resilience, and innovative approaches to decarbonizing the built environment.
CRC 2025
Lisbon, Portugal
Hosted by the ASHRAE Portugal Chapter from 25 to 27 September 2025, the Region XIV CRC brought delegates together in Lisbon for three days of regional meetings, technical sessions, leadership development, networking, and the celebration of Chapter achievements. Under the theme “Strategies for Zero Emission Buildings with High Indoor Environmental Quality”, the programme promoted knowledge exchange on building decarbonization, energy efficiency, sustainability, and healthy indoor environments.

Oxford, UK
Hosted by the ASHRAE UK Chapter from 19 to 22 September 2024, the Region XIV CRC brought delegates together at Wolfson College, University of Oxford, for regional meetings, chapter training, professional collaboration, and networking. The programme also featured the Net Zero Summit, focused on advancing a sustainable and carbon-neutral built environment.
CRC 2023
Galaway, Ireland
Hosted by the ASHRAE Ireland Chapter from 11 to 13 August 2023, the Region XIV CRC welcomed European and international ASHRAE members to Galway. Held alongside the Global Energy Summit 2023, the event combined regional meetings, knowledge exchange, professional networking, and collaboration towards a shared net-zero-carbon future.
CRC 2022
Madrid, Spain
Hosted by the ASHRAE Spain Chapter on 9 and 10 September 2022, the Region XIV CRC marked the return to an in-person conference after two consecutive virtual editions. Delegates gathered in Madrid for workshops, business and Society meetings, regional awards, networking, and a technical session dedicated to “Climate Change Challenges.”
CRC 2021
Virtual Meeting, Spain Chapter
Hosted virtually by the ASHRAE Spain Chapter, the 2021 Region XIV CRC culminated in the Business Meeting held on 25 September, following several weeks of online activities and workshops. Regional leaders and Chapter representatives came together to present reports, discuss motions, welcome new officers and define priorities for the continued development of Region XIV.
CRC 2020
Virtual Meeting, Spain Chapter
Originally planned as an in-person conference in Madrid, the 2020 Region XIV CRC moved online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hosted by the ASHRAE Spain Chapter on 26 and 27 September, the virtual edition ensured the continuity of regional business meetings, chapter reporting, training and collaboration during an unprecedented year.

Athens, Greece
Hosted by the ASHRAE Hellenic Chapter from 26 to 29 September 2019, the third Region XIV CRC brought delegates together in Athens for technical courses and presentations, regional business meetings, chapter training, networking, and social activities. The programme also featured the “Energy in Buildings” and “Energy in Transportation” conferences.

Loughborough, UK
Hosted in Loughborough, United Kingdom, from 6 to 9 September 2018, the Region XIV CRC brought together members and industry professionals at Loughborough University. Under the theme “Build Our New Energy Future”, the programme combined a technical conference and exhibition with regional business meetings, training workshops, awards and networking activities.
CRC 2017
Belgrade, Serbia
ASHRAE Region XIV organised its first Chapter Regional Conference (CRC) in Belgrade Serbia, December 8-10, 2017. The event brought together delegates, members, decision makers and technical experts from all of the European ASHRAE chapters, as well as ASHRAE officials from Atlanta, GA, USA. The overall aim of the CRC was to foster and enhance the activities of the Region chapters and section through increased engagement and collaboration. The CRC provided a series of orientation and training courses for the various chapters and sections over a weekend period.
