Region XIV CRC 2026 Successfully Concludes in Timișoara

The 10th ASHRAE Region XIV Chapters Regional Conference (CRC) successfully took place in Timișoara, Romania, from 4 to 6 September 2026, hosted by the ASHRAE Danube Chapter.

The conference brought together ASHRAE members and leaders from across Region XIV for three days of regional meetings, chapter training, technical exchange, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and networking.

Under the theme “Integrated Decarbonization Strategies in Built and Urban Environments: Digital, Health-Centric, and Resilient Systems,” the programme also provided an opportunity to explore current challenges and innovative approaches to decarbonization, digitalization, healthy buildings, and resilience in the built environment.

Region XIV was particularly honoured to welcome ASHRAE President Sarah E. Maston, whose presence and active participation throughout the CRC strengthened the connection between the Region and the wider ASHRAE community.

A special thank you goes to the ASHRAE Danube Chapter and everyone involved in organizing and hosting CRC 2026. Their dedication and hard work were fundamental to the success of the conference.

Thank you also to all Chapter and Section delegates, Regional leaders, speakers, volunteers, participants and sponsors who contributed to making CRC 2026 a memorable and productive event.

Region XIV leaves Timișoara with stronger connections, new ideas, and renewed energy for the year ahead.
